Meet Rafe Buckner

Rafe knows the meaning of hard work. A proud Owensboro High School Alum, Rafe built A Cut Above Mowing LLC from the ground up, and that same dedication has spilt over into everything he does for our community.

Rafe's not just about talk; he's about action. He's the backbone of the Northwest Neighborhood Alliance, fighting tooth and nail for our streets, homes, and families. This dedication extends to leadership roles - he' has recently been appointed the Vice President at Owensboro Dustbowl Inc., and looking forward to leading both on and off the court.

But Rafe's commitment goes way beyond titles. He's been in the trenches, serving on the Owensboro Parks Advisory Board, and is now rolling up his sleeves for initiatives like the "Through Sleets Eyes" festival and the Greater Owensboro Youth Council. From planning urban gardens to securing food access, Rafe's all about making Owensboro a better place.

Rafe's not your typical politician; he's one of us. A father, brother, son, and friend to the hardworking folks of Owensboro. Because for Rafe, Owensboro Matters, and he's ready to work tirelessly to prove it.
